My mom just sent me pics of my dog playing in the snow...couldn't see him and he's black, lol. Glad I decided against coming home for Christmas, I'd be stuck in an airport somewhere.

Snow should be starting here any minute.

It's been 40 and over cast for weeks here. We had a day of 72 and partly sunny in there, as if to taunt me. That night, between my Mom's house and mine I had to stop and put the top up before my balls actually froze off. It hasn't broken 45 since :(

I moved away from Northern Va in 93. It was too far north. ^^That nonsense kept happening.

Snow is funny. 10 miles south of me got 12 more inches, according to the totals on the news and pictures. We got maybe 10-12". All the streets are clear already.

Only about 6 inches of snow here. Still got the mazda2 stuck at a traffic light though :giggle: Miata stays parked, bald 205 wide summer tires just don't cut it.

I spent a total of about 3 hours shoveling today. A 50 pound bag of salt was not enough for my driveway and in front of my house. I will probably go home for lunch tomorrow and try to clear up a lot of the street while it is above freezing.

Hmm... of all the years I've spent living in snow, I've never thought of raising the wipers before a storm. They always get all frozen on. Good idea, thanks.

Just got back from hot wings and sno-nuts meet! The miata BLOWS in the snow and Ice... no suprise there....

It IS awful fun to spin on ice though! All the guys in the subaru club wanted rides :)

On a sad note, my buddy Todd blew up his wrx wagon from some 4th gear WOT spinning for an extended period of time :( it's rod knocking like a bitch and he has no oil pressure...

EJ Civic. the trunk was so loaded it looked like a hatch.

so over the next two days we're going to have refreeze and remelt and refreeze. 20 inches of snow turns into a lot of nasty black ice that way.

I wish we had snow up in Seattle. Its always fun to play.

So that is what I drove home from work today with. Worked well getting up my street. Bitches still have not plowed it.

This weather in the upper 50's is killing me. I even had to swat away some left over summer bugs today. I do wish it would snow like that here. Haven't seen major snow since the '93 blizzard.

I've decided I will pray to the snow gods that it doesn't snow until after the first week in January.

I'm gonna try and drive my Miata from Chicago to NY over my 4 day break for new years.
