I'm not big on Hondas, but a 4 cyl. roadster that in n/a form can give a Mustang GT a run for it's money is pretty decent. Just the price isn't.

I have mixed feelings with the wing.. I'd rather have a little lip spoiler.
I don't know what it is but Honda guys get super defensive about the lack of torque on the f20

odd. i have the exact same combo. in black.

comparing a turbo'd miata vs a stock ap1 is retarded.

and used ap1s aren't expensive. dunno where you're shopping. new '07s can be had for $29k, not much more than similar vintaged miatas. build/finish, at least for my car, is at least 2x as nice as similar vintaged miatas.

but the turbo miata didn't cost 29 large, thats the selling point

Where have you seen any used NA or NB Miata for over $20k?

And for the $29k price tag (and '06s aren't new anymore,we're to '08 now, we just got the CR in at the Honda dealership I keep inventory at), I'd rather spend a few grand more and get a nice used '04 Z06 'Vette than an S2K.

well these days you can pick up a used S2k for 15k-18k in rather good shape...(thats california)since Mazdaspeed maitas are going for 15-16k round here its not a bad alternitive.. but **** the 15-18k range range is peppered with used "sports cars"....so yeah......anyone who buys new is crazy anyways

Is it wrong that I love the look of the hardtop on a car designed from the ground up to be a convertible?

Hardtops are best. Mine actually matches my car now, I just haven't had a chance to take a pic.

bottom line is the s2000 was better with the 2.0 liter than the 2.4 in my opinion, it was a lot more rev-happy.
and yeah hardtop s2000's look almost as badass as hardtop mr2's
