Mmmm... RAM!
RAM upgrade is here! So I've finally reached my goal of 128GB. I now have a total of 152GB of RAM dedicated to virtual machines.

You should register over at hardforums.net. They will make you their deity.

I think you meant "[H]ardforums".

That's awesome, but what are you going to do with 152GBs of VMs? I mean besides beat off to all of that RAM...
|
The most ram I have shoved into a blade server is 74GB. We only have 8 cores though so that is our biggest limitation.

I are proud. Servers they have gotten big.

Not bad...
On a side note, the other day I found out that we are HP's biggest customer in Indiana. Which is sort of cool, until you remember we are in Indiana. |
I wish I could afford to spend $450k on my own servers... I do manage over $500k/mo worth of AWS instances though.

Does anyone here need 1 million IOPS? Serious question.
|
You almost have more RAM than my computer has storage.
