Saw a funny crash today
I was going with a friend to pick up an ecu for one of his trucks. We were in a wrx with ebay lights and a sti body kit. There was plenty of traffic, so even my idiot friend(who is not known to have an off switch for his assholishness when on the road) was just calmly cruising.
We passed a very clean integra, which I noticed because most of the integras around here are **** piles. As we were slowly rolling through the next intersection I heard the telltale drone of a honda intake and exhaust. As I turn my head to look, two idiot kids fly past us in the left turn lane, both of them looking at us with idiotic grins on their faces. The fool proceeds to try to drift around the turn with his e brake. Predictably the kid does not bother trying to countersteer, give it any gas, or any other thing to try to gain control, and the car comes all the way around and slams its back end against a traffic light.
The looks on their faces were priceless
that really made my afternoon.

Did it dent the trash can that most likely was sticking out from under the rear bumper? Please tell me it had a HUGE wing on the back of it, (preferably made of aluminum) to keep the back end down so the wheels that actually drive it grab better. Or so they say in FWD world.

Here is a funny crash picture to save the thread
These pictures were taken by one of the firemen who were called to the scene, with his camera phone. The officials who responded to the accident could not believe that the Mini (and I) sustained so little damage. The other vehicle involved is a Chevy Tahoe. I was driving south on a one-way street and the other driver was driving west, also on a one-way street. The other driver ran a red light (that had been red for a long time) and appeared in the intersection just in front of me as I came through. I didn't even see them. I hit the passenger's side of Tahoe head-on, and the Tahoe rolled. In one of the pictures, you can see the Mini-shaped dent in the vehicle that is on its side. The driver of the Tahoe was unhurt and did get a ticket. She was also insured.
