I saw that same sub frame on 'chop cut rebuild' today. More info on the 69 track car would be sweet.

Totally digging the invisible soft top on the 68, do want!
Needs to turn the engine bay from 11 down to about a 9.

The '69 looks a little...well...thin. Someone took "adding lightness" to the extreme.
"How much HP does it have?"
"Well that depends; how many horses are pulling it?"

My '92 has an invisible soft-top right now. I'll trade it for your regular one if you'd like.

fixed.

I don't have much more info on the track car... I know the LS3 has about 22k invested in it at this point. The body is on a rotisserie right now.

I'll post more/better pics as time goes by.

The sub-frame on the 69 is a DSE hydroformed sub-frame if you were wondering.

On the 68, i could have gone without customs written on the hood scoop.

I promised my mom I would build her a '67 someday. It'll be about the time that I win the lotto......

Cool cars. I think I would take a early Camaro over pretty much any Mustang and most Vettes.

I don't get it. It's new? Body is old? Or is it all made from newly made refurb stuff? How do you register it then? Or do you at least need a scrap car somewhere to get the vin?

Horray for kick *** jobs though

I wonder about that too. Its at a point now where you can have a "68" Camaro, thats 100% new. Which is sweet. But it makes registration a bit more complex. My guess is that unless you start with a OEM Unibody, its a "kit".

Looks to me like most of the body is original. In CA at least, that makes it a '68 Camaro so long as the VIN is intact.

The 68 was a rust bucket. I'll have some before shots of it pretty soon.

The 69 has some original parts going on it, but for the most part it's going to be entirely new.

As for the "customs" on the hood, it actually says "Iron Horse Customs".

This is somewhat of a client "bait" car I'm told there is a magazine shoot already set up for it once it's finished.

couple more pics:
