Monoprice is the tits

I know you guys said that they had good prices etc. But good god. check out this email i got this afternoon.
Dear magna

Thanks for your order.

There's a minor issue with your order. The following item has currently been oversold with an ETA of 12/14/2009

(3) - High Speed HDMI 1.3a Category 2 Certified Certified CL2 Rated (In-Wall Installation) Cable (24AWG) w/ Net Jacket - 10ft (Gold Plated Connectors)

I am sure you're eager to receive all the items and set up the A/V equipments ASAP without any delay. So, for you to use temporarily until receiving the one(s) you have ordered, we decided to send you our standard quality 10ft HDMI 28AWG cable(s) at no additional cost. As soon as PID 3662 24AWG HDMI cable becomes available, I'll ship out the cable immediately. Scheduled shipping date for the higher quality 24AWG HDMI cable is 12/15/2009.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Should you have any question, please kindly let me know. Thank you so much for your understanding and doing business with us.

Regards,

Purchasing Associate/Domestic
Monoprice, Inc.

holly crap if they do this kind of customer service for everyone i hope there business quadrupples. I just thought i would share this positive experience with you guys as i was kind of hesitant of being a small time consumer dealing with a internet retailer like that but so far omg i has been beyond expectation.

The company I work for buys 6 foot cat5 cabled in large quantities. I found out we were paying close to 5$ for each one. I then gave our purchasing lady the info for monoprice and we have been picking up the same length cat6 cables for something like a dollar a piece now.

You fucking ass! I was JUST about to make an order from them and now you have me second guessing myself. Some CL2 14AWG

n/m, I guess this is kind of a good experience. I only read the first part. I think all companies should man up and make things right at their own cost like this.

Monoprice is fucking dope! I got all my stuff from there when I hooked up my panasonic and onkyo equipment. Awesome prices, fast shipping, great packaging, etc etc. I recommend them to everyone!

I have this forum to thank for hearing about them! :bigtu:

everyone knows monoprice is god.

I just bought some 16AWG speaker wire last night from RadioShack because I had to have some and it cost me like $10 for a 30ft spool or doodoo brown unmarked cable (looked like old ass lamp cord). You can get a better looking 100ft spool of marked cable in 14AWG CL2 in wall wire on monoprice for $17. Oh, and a pair of gold plated banana plugs for only $2.

cables2go is also good.
if you need long lengths, dvigear has the best hdmi and dvi cables I've worked with

Monoprice is beginning to become an addiction for me. I feel bad just purchasing 1 item from them since it is all so cheap, so I end up buying 10x what I really need, but why not when shit is insanely cheap. Just bought a 25ft and a 12ft digital coax audio cable to hook up my subwoofer and to hook my computer to my receiver, also got a 1ft, 3ft, 5ft and 25ft cat5e and 2 day shipping across the country and it was still under $20  That shit at any retail store would have been probably over $50 and I would have had to deal with people and their bullshit.

I also love it even more now because I noticed they are in Rancho Cucamonga, so Day-Day and Craig have to be working the warehouse or building security

I've been buying from Monoprice for years, and my buddies who got suckered into the Monster hype at Best Buy are always fucking livid when I show them my garage box of cables. I've got a cardboard box the size of a large ice-chest filled with all kinds of cables.

I guess I'm like some others... I discover I need a 3ft HDMI cable and they've got some for like $1.95, and still end up spending $50 snatching up whatever is on sale for .99cents a pop or whatever.

It's hard not to buy more when the shipping would end up being 5x the cost of your purchase. Well, I might as well pick up one of these, one of those, maybe one of these. Next thing you know you have a cart full of about 20 cables. I try to think about which cables I have that are either too long, too short or the wrong color. I have quite a box of cables going too, though mine are scattered between 4 or 5 hiding places.

Imagine that your ice chest is 3x as large, then imagine you have 4 of them, then imagine you have over a dozen spools of various other cables ranging from 100' to 1000', then picture all sorts of different connectors and tools to make the terminations. Yeah, I'm cool like that. Want to run a mini-RGBHV with 2 cat5e's and terminate with BNC connectors? No problem.

I heart monoprice.
