The thread is still there, but it has been pruned. Frankly, there was too much BS and poo-flinging going on. I'm all for natural selection, but unfortunately this was one of those cases where people just started acting like retards for not obviously justifiable reason. If you want to see where it's at now, the thread is right here in the BS section. In fairness, the OPs decision to put it here probably didn't help his cause.

We all had our weinies slapped
True, but that was just good clean fun between consenting adults.

edit: the following is directed not at cueball, but at everyone.

To be honest, everyone needs to take a real close look at what Ben posted back in #4 of this thread. Step back, think about it. Because he's dead on the money here. Jumping over to other forums and starting **** gives us all a bad name, but so does a lot of the juvenile BS that goes on internally. If someone is being an utter retard, then by all means, feel free to point this out to them, preferably in a witty and intelligent way. Haverty, for instance, deserved what he got.

However, just because someone is being a retard to you is no excuse to start being a retard yourself. Consider how your own actions reflect upon the reputation of the forum as a whole. I don't care what any of you think personally about clubroadster, or mazdaspeed, or M.net, or circlejerk.org for that matter. We're the ones who are supposed to be posting links to other forums saying "Look at this retard" and having a good laugh at their expense. When we give those folks a legitimate excuse to do the same to us, it really pisses me off.

We're all reasonably intelligent creatures here, and when I see otherwise reasonable people reduce themselves to a nine year old vocabulary and mentality, it makes me want to start banning people. I've been going easy on this **** recently because I was trying not to be too much of a totalitarian ******* and conform to the whole "the moderators have a god-complex" stereotype. That ends now.

There are a few things with the MSM that doesn't makes the transition, but not many. The EMU for some reason hates MSM's but seem to work fine on non-MSM's. I came to this site initially to figure out how to make the thing work. Every one on the MSM site told me it wouldn't work. It made no sense to me why it would't. I never really got it working properly even with a crap load of help from Joe Perez (thanks).

Relax, take a breath and don't worry about it. Your intentions were good I'm sure, but some people will be dicks just for the sake of it. Which is galactically stupid considering what the mods have been saying.

Deep breath ..... now GTFO!

Alright, whatever i'm done. Just keep reaffirming why I made that thread in the first place. I've tried to be nice and help kiss and make up but it just seems like some people don't want to.

If you didn't love the sound of your own voice so much, we might not jack with you so bad.

There are no difficulties here man. If people stop looking for fights, then they won't find them.

If necessary, we can lock down this thread to stop the fighting. Sure would be shameful though, and would represent a failure of our members to be civil and our staff to set a good example. Let's not allow this to happen, mkay?

Also, I want to point out that the vast majority of our senior members and all of our staff have remained extremely civil and polite with both the M-S situation and with new members. Hazing and bashing seems to be more of newb on newb violence than anything else. The moderators will be forced to censor more often, more directly, and more harshly if this problem does not self correct.

You know I can completely see Joe, Ben's, etc.. POV about trying to take things down a notch and things getting out of hand...

Just please o please let's not start censoring and whatnot... Attacks without cause and all the other junk I can agree need to be toned...but the WAY opinions/ideas are exressed here is what initially drove and kept me here...It's MT's personality...

There has to be some level of if you dont like it gtfu...

PS--I'm prob one of the guilty of showing some 9yr old behavior recently, but its not my usual MO

I've met VagaXT. He is basically a big FM fanboi. If he installed a single part on his car, I'd be stunned. The entire turbo/motor was installed at FM by FM. There is nothing to look up to.

My God, WTF is going on? ****'s OLD news. I know some specific other forum member bashing can be fun (mostly finding the retard posts on CR and Mnet), but this MTvs MS is just dumb. Unfortunatly, you can't tell the less-smart people how to just realize that not everyone will agree with eachother :(

I received a slight amount of hazing when I joined but it never once bothered me. I realized it was all in good fun and nothing serious or personal. It shouldn't be taken that way by any means. As a matter of fact it was one of the traits that attracted me to this forum.

I prefer a little flavor as opposed to the dull, dry feel of some other forums. It adds excitement to the experience instead of just staring at a bunch of text on a web page with a few pics.

I agree there is a point when some becomes too much, but rarely have I seen it here. Usually crisp wit and clever criticism with the occasional bathroom humor. It's like being at a family reunion(if you met them ,you would understand). Besides a few taunts are a small price to pay for the wellspring of knowledge that this forum provides.

We're all adults and must use our own judgement when messing with somebody.I'll admit, I'm 37 years old and enjoy acting like a kid sometimes. No harm, no foul is the way I see it. I hope a few random incidents don't change the forum too much if at all.

That being said, thanks for a pleasurable surfing experience! Lordrigamus, Satisfied customer.

Now if you'll excuse me , I have to go throw darts at my samnavy dart board. Post-noob depression sucks!!!
