I WANT TO SHARE MY SUCCESS DONT DISS THE STORY.

Always lies. About everything and likes to fuck with people, including me.
I will keep the facts short but this is how it goes.

I knew he always lied about things but it really got crazy when he told me his gf was pregnant. My wife and I then got him some goodies for him and the GF so it would ease the pain of having a kid and a congrats from us. Following day he said his GF had a miscarriage. I knew right there he was shitting me so I just said "yea right", she was never preg. I insisted he was lying and finally he came clean about how he fooled everyone and got free shit. This happened about 12 months ago. I felt like a doucher calling him out cause what if it really did happen.... ... but i suspected it was a lie.

Over the course of the last year he has told more lies. Car stolen, car smashed, car accidents, more pregnancies, rate of wage, investments, mansions hes bought etc, all lies but I always laugh and call him on it. He always insists its true and I can "ask" people to verify. Again, i wasnt born yesterday though I usually let him think I was buying into the BS.

The good part. Aug 27 he tells me him and his GF broke up. Ive heard this story before and rather than 'loling' at him like always i for some reason decided to change it up (1 because i dont get why he lies all the time and 2 to really fuck with him). So it basically went down like this:

Him: Me and Jill broke up about 1.5 weeks ago
Me: Oh shit, sorry to hear about it but im not shocked...
Him: why arent you shocked?
Me: Im not shocked to hear about it i mean. I kinda heard about it already.
Him: How did you hear about it, i never told anyone...
Me: Van (my sis) knows a girl through work who knows Jill and the other night they were at the college pub and Jill had a guy with him. Van inquired and found out you two were broken up a long time ago and Jill just moved on.
Him: You fuckin lie, Van doesnt know what jill looks like, could have been another Jill
Me: No, they met before about a year ago remember, at the 241 pizza. Jill remembered her too.
Him: WTF???????
Me: Honestly who knows but atleast you broke up with her. From the sounds of it she has been seeing this guy for a while and that aint cool man. Van said there was tons of PDA and grinding.
Him: WTF???? Are you serious???
Me: Yea, but who cares man, fuck that bitch, shes gone now. Move on. If she already has a man that fast she must not have really cared about you.

**** silence

That was the last time we spoke until last night. Sept 15 he finally replied to my every day since aug 27 texts of saying 'hi' that i was a total fuckin asshole and i broke the friend code of making up lies. lol. that he had never broken up with Jill and was messing with me and i told a lie and that he went charging over to her house, made a scene, got dumped (yea right)... but what makes it real is all the things inbetween. Ive known him for 20 years and last night he called me every name in the book, said he hated me and that i ruined his life and love and that i will get mine one day and that playing on the internet has given me a huge ego. lol

So yea, i dont care. I told him last night I dont remember any of that and that he must be making it up, it drove him more crazy.

I am pretty proud that the guy who fucks with everyone got royally fucked. Tough love I guess. Dish it but cant take it.

i vote new thread. sounds like he deserved it. i cant stand people like that. sometimes i'll lie and joke around about stupid shit to get a laugh but never on this level.

What amazes me is why you'd stay friends with someone like that. Those types are cancer.

That really was a cool story BRO. If he's been shitting you for years now why did you stay his friend?

Hes a funny guy, makes people laugh but when it gets serious thats when the lies start.

I mean, hes been telling me he makes usually $60 hr. So $60 hr at 70 hrs a week is $4200 x 4 $16,800. Now he claims hes been doing that for 4 months straight and admittingly says hes tired like fuck.

But what I dont get is he has a used car, lives at home with his folks and has limited bills. He tells me he only pays for his cell, his car, his insurance and thats it, not rent since his 'rents house is paid off.

He should have banked $70k by now, or lets say 50k even. WTF? He always cries about leaving his folks house but doesnt. Wants a new car, doesnt get it... etc..

Why?

Cause hes full of shit.

I once paid him $20 hr to do some work here and in the end he tried to scam me for another $500 because he said his employer paid him $16 on the books and for some reason I owe him $500 more because of this. ... i cant even explain that to you guys cause its retarded. He wanted cash, i paid him decent, he was laid off. His quality of work the first time around was about 7/10. After that, 2/10 --> Fired.

Yea, i know. My wife says the same thing. She cant stand him. Ive known him since grade 2. We lost contact for a while but overall he always seemed harmless and was always great to converse with but recently he just lies, like crazy amounts. Until Aug 27 i think he was lying everyday about something.

The wife dislikes him and thinks hes a scammer, same with some other people I know. Yes, he may have duped me here and there on some work but now i just dont use him and I did actually let him know I had to let him go cause of his lack of effort. He went on to tell me i couldnt hire a paki for the rates I give him.... such a tool bag.

But the cancer part is right. He certainly makes things crappy, some of my other buddies cant stand him, think hes trouble. The funny thing is now he hates me cause i ruined his life so now I dont have to dump him. lol

Because it really didn't affect me until my wife and i went and bought him shit (gift basket). It went from being a 'whatever' type flaw to a pain. Its not as if i let him borrow my car and sleep over and touch the wifes boobies. Hes a guy I would maybe have wings with once every other month but would regular text with.

seriously though, i know some folks like that and i can't shed them fast enough. life's too short to waste mental brain cycles on people who aren't genuine.

A buddy of mine was working pipelines near Toronto and people on the job would be bragging that they went to Grade 10 or 11. Is it really that uncommon up there to get to that point? Seeing "Grade 2" reminded me of that.

Omg, truthfully he was always funny, even his text. He just lied too much.

He is really racist too, hates everyone who aint white and that has been a point of conflict in the past but he settled that down in the presence of my kid.

My other friend was a Miata owner but my wife says he can never ever come back to the house. So I am left with a handful of normal untroubled friends which hold normal jobs and behave like adults... boring :p

I am sure its the same everywhere. There are those that have education and no jobs while people with no education make 60k a year. Stories like that everywhere. I know tons of people who have both done well, ok and or still are fuct in life.

Sounds like he is troubled emotionally, and told lies as a way to cope with his unhappiness. When you called him out on it, it made him have to face the realities, even if for a little while.

If all his friends and family would do what you did, maybe he would be forced to change that bad behavior. I think we all have one of those types in our lives.
