Default the: "My Garage" thread

The "non-turbo projects" thread got me thinking about a garage thread. Some of us seem to have it all, while others are on jack stands in the complex parking lot. Definitely impacts the difficulty of the project. So if you've got some pics of your "garage", throw 'em up and show off or show down!

Here's mine circa 1926, detached, wood frame, just barely a two car garage. Absolutely freezing on a cold day as there's nothing but clapboard siding on the studs and it's really too small to work on the car with door closed. Yes, that means your feet get wet if you're working on the car and it's raining.

I started autocrossing my 91 Miata right after we moved in, so everything has been worked on in it from the C-stock Miata to the Grand Am Miata. And a lot of parts left behind along the way. Upgrades include a concrete floor, removing the center support structure for single beam across and a single opening, adding a garage door, alarm and electrical.

Almost finished with a shed behind it, so that'll free up some space. I can move things like the yard equipment, engine hoist and spares out!

All kinds of good stuff in there. Organized messes are a pain, but hey long as you know where it is and no one else does they can't borrow it right?

My garage is just a carport. If my landlord lets me buy this place I am going to redo it and enclose it on the sides, put doors on it and put a lift in the first bay.

If I'm headed out to the garage, you can bet I'll be working on the car before I clean it up. The Miata stuff has been accumulating since 1992. VRTSid - is the a public storage "garage"?

I actually sleep on a couple of the big bags of packing peanuts from U-Line.. It's amazing how little you notice the noise of peanuts after a long day..

nah its just a small 1 car under my roomates apartment.
our house is weird its a duplex with a 3 car garage with an apartment on top.

my garage is usually very clean and very organized. but I took pics mid stream of my install so everything is pulled out. in fact I was pulling the car out to sweep because I was tired of laying on metal shavings and screws.

That small Craftsman workbench up front is for sale on Craigslist... as soon as it's gone, I'm going with a 7' countertop and deep-sink.
Those tall white cabinets I bought from Lowes... THEY SUCK, build your own.
