#2!

(I think #1 might be ambiguous, especially to someone with sufficiently low mental acuity as to think that you'd be interested in trading your computer for a kitten.)

Ask if they come with a recipie for cooking. Subtlety would be lost on the clueless.

1. "I'm tempted by your offer, but I'm not sure. Are the kittens tender?"

2. "Sorry, not interested, we're vegetarians."
She is obviously cyberstalking you and well aware of your frequent interaction and participation with gay cat-lover members of this forum. Thus the offer.

It's almost as if she's offering Miata parts.

I typically don't let people know exactly where I live. Not really worried about getting robbed or anything, it's just not pertinent information to the buyer to know where I live.

I try to meet people in a public setting where other people might be, and I never go unarmed. I always bring my cell and if possible ask a friend to come along and just sit in the car while the deal happens.

So far I've bought and sold a motorcycle, a car, a puppy, couple firearms, a number of car parts, and lots of other miscellaneous crap without issue. The worst part of craigslist are the emails and the phone calls. Actually meeting people though has always gone well for me.

I went and picked up a bird cage from someone on craigslist. Got there right after dark and his house was pitch black and he was waiving my wife and me towards his house. Creepy enough but we went over. He opened the door and turned on the lights. His house was right out of an episode of Hoarders. Wall to wall stuff. Not dirty like 1000 lbs of dirty diapers, but packages of coffee, tables stacked on tables, the birdcages we were looking at, tons of books.

Of course he said he was "moving". We bought the cage but he couldn't even get it out of the room because he had a big dresser with crap stacked on it in the hallway. I had to help him move his crap to get the friggin cage out of the house.

Out here, military uses our own craigslist called yardsales... and well ours is called okinawayardsales.com and there is some weird **** that happens on that.

You'll see adds for a guy advertising "Private Investigator" with a heavy emphasis on "will find out if your spouse is cheating on you!" (which is literally the only reason to get a PI out here).

Or you'll get the crazy turkish guy who's broken 6 cars and still offer mechanic services.

But I put up an add a couple months back selling my RZ wheels from my FD, I posted them up for 1200 bucks... I was in no rush to sell.

I get 6 emails within the hour, one dude just straight up said. I'll take them, with no tires for 450, cash in hand pickup within the hour. I replied he could take the tires for 450 haha...

Got another this dude offered me 800 bucks, which isn't the worst offer, but I declined him... he replies with a vindictive spat about how my wheels aren't worth 1200 yada yada yada.. and I replied "ah ****! I just found out these are the ultra rare spec R wheels! PRICE JUST WENT UP! 1500!" Had some lulz when he kept trying to call.

But recently, I've kept to selling **** via forums, I can't stand using the craigslist-esqe merchant method.

You need to make it clear you speak of 1.5 Bengal kitties. As 1 Bengal = 1.5 regular.

most of the people who I sold things over on craigslist, ended up buying and paying more stuff than originally planned.

e.g. guy comes over for an exhaust, leaves with exahust, 2 doors and some random parts.

So Sam are you moving the lawn mower to the 757? I can have my buddy pick it up there if it is still available.
