Need advice on shipping clutch + Coilovers
Hey all. I've got a question for all of you experienced in shipping. I am looking for some estimates on price to ship a set of coilovers and a clutch. I've got a nice box that 949 racing sent me for my Xidas that has 4 individual boxes for each coilover. That along with the shipping of the clutch + flywheel.
Are we talking $150 here? More? Thanks in advance. |
What did you pay for shipping from 949? Start there. Or use the ups price quote tool.
Did this really Warrant a thread? Edit, I guess it IS is the bs section. |

Like I said, use the ups shipping calculator. It's easy. I'd have to go check, but I think that's about what I paid to ship my shocks when I sold them.

it's not hard at all.
usually 60-90 heavily depending on location to ship the 4 corners clutch 40-50 to ship |

An MSM Bilstein setup (43 lb) cost me $26 to ship from GA to MS via UPS Ground.

Clutch should fit in a medium flat rate. More like $20ish

without the original packaging, yes. with, no.

Good point. There are multiple medium box sizes. Gotta find the #2 I think.

If the person is willing to wait a few extra days, USPS Parcel post is typically 50% of what FedEx or UPS is.
When I used to sell parts all the time I would price the items "shipped" and explained why it was so cheap. Everyone was OK with it. |
