Im a lil behind the times as I just started doing the Netflix thing on my PS3 but figured it would be great to start a thread for it for us to suggest some movies to eachother that we have watched and liked. It doesnt exactly have to have been watched on Netflix, but if its a good movie post it up to share with everybody. After you list the movie rate it with "1-5 :bigtu:"

I just got finished watching Rampage. It was better than I thought it was going to be, I would deff watch this agian.

I've watched all the American chopper And all the family guy on my phone at work. Family guy is great for half hour lunch breaks.

Since I've been off of school, I've watched all of Parks and Recreation and I'm almost finished with season six of The Office.

My instant queue currently consists of 204 titles. WTB free time.

in terms of netflix do they get all the movies, new movies, most movies, or just things from certain places?

it has just recently came to canada (less than 6 months)

I've found instantwatcher.com to be very helpful in finding decent Netflix streaming titles.

I have two external hard drives, a 1 Tb and a 705 Gb. A few hundred movies between them, many of which I haven't seen. I can participate?

Way to go, only about five years behind the rest of us. Are you guys just getting into Nirvana and shit?

I just signed up today...either I'm using the menus wrong, or it's not as up-to-date on movies as local RedBox or Blockbuster.

first two seasons of dexter = win

Their streaming title collection is just a small, but growing subset of their entire library. Interesting datapoint - something like 20% of ALL internet traffic can be attributed to Netflix Instant Watch.

Just watched:

Eyeborgs 3.5 Bad acting, but still a great flic imho.

Surrogates 3.9 Cool movie as well.

Older top gear seasons are on there too and they are great.

I had netflix for about two years, and it certainly seemed like they had everything ever pressed. Certainly a much broader selection than any video store.


But then I switched to the torrent scene. I haven't touched a physical DVD (or subscribed to cable) in about 3 years now. Everything lives on a 2TB drive on a little PC in the living room. Pretty much anything you could possibly want to watch, not just movies but TV shows, are just a few clicks and maybe an hour away. If there existed some service which offered that sort of convenience and massive selection legitimately I'd probaby pay for it. But there isn't.

Oh, and Three Days of the Condor. Hell of a great film.

Keep in mind a lot of the movies that show up are supposedly movie's you watch. You need to know what you want to watch and than search for it. Unless it's a new release, odds are it's on the instant watch.

RedBox and Blockbuster are a little different, you're paying for the new release movie, not the instant watch service like Netflix, which doesn't have the new releases.

I really enjoyed Shank.
