Im a democrat. I just like McCain to win the nom. for republicans.

lower taxes, less government, less waste, less handouts....guess im a republican.

How has that worked for the past 8 years or so?

I leaned strongly democratic for 10 years of eligibility to vote, and just changed my party affiliation this year. In my opinion, the Democratic party has shifted too far to the left. The Republican party has shifted left to take up the positions the Democrats have left open, but their priorities are all wonky.

Ron Paul is a RINO, but not the same way a majority of the Republican candidates are. He's truly a libertarian, which I support 100%. He doesn't stand a chance though.

My vote's going for McCain. Reasonable defense policy, great domestic policy, not a gun grabber. My only qualm with him is is amnesty policy, but that'll proably never happen.
