I didn't realize until now that real racing caster/camber gauges were so reasonable - $99 ? That's about what it costs for two alignments at the tire shop down the street. I'm not affiliated with the seller, but thought I would pass on the info to you guys in case it would save you time/hassle/money getting a shop to do it every time.

You might even be able to charge your buddies to set up their cars and offset the cost.

While that could be a tool for general refrence, exactness in the field with that tool will be impossible. major changes would work out , but minute adjustments would be impossible.

Aditionally , having to use the magnet to attach, will requre steel to attach to, Many alum rims will not carry this too, thus requiring removal of wheel to attach to hub / brake rotor.

Just my few cents.

Ya I just glued a stack of nuts to both ends at the right spots so it would contact the rims. Wheels must be pointed straight ahead else the caster will cause the camber to change.

The caveat is that the car must be level left to right. I used a stack of vinyl tiles under the tires, leveled with the same digital angle gauge and a long 2x4.

Toe is a much bigger PITA. You can use string and a caliper, but to get the correct reading you need to know the track width difference of front vs. rear.
