Where else but the FM front page do you find a '99 miata for $23k?
http://www.salibello.com/default.htm

Check the engine page, the guy spent $24k on the engine and turbo alone, for 260whp!!! Anyone here could build a 260whp setup for $2k!

Heck, the parts in the engine bay alone are worth more than $23,000.

Must have been tuned by a monkey too...if thats all it is making..

Looks damn good though...very nice car.

I will say though...that one of the best for sale ads I have EVER seen...even if it is stupid expensive.

You could do 2 LS1 swaps for that.
If i bled money like that i would have saved it, and bought an exige.

this is promising:

The car is currently at Flyin Miata in Colorado having a new bottom end built and installed.
the cost of the engine work makes me laugh....
not to mention the lack of knowledge of anythign he actually has done....like the meticilous wiring or the:
Direct intake. The MAF was removed for 'track' use. Can easily be put back for street / CARB use.

******* retard.

CA car dude. That modification is track legal only. That actually makes sense 'track' with the quotes. Dude is likely to be a lawyer.

I thought you were going to make fun of his $400 grounding package, or the fact that FM charged him $1800 to install a motor + $1500 on top of that to install the turbo kit + $500 on top of that for a coolant reroute.

Oh, so you think $5k for a turbo kit (not including engine management) might be a tad high?

I like how he switched from the tec3 to the tec3r. Apparently mom and dad never loved this loser or something.

The $800 2.5" exhaust is probably the best in the business too.

Even though he talks this thing up to be a supercar...he has queer ghetto blaster stereo crap in it.

Like the title says "rich people" probably applies- as in $10k to this guy is probably like $1k to a lot of us. It's all relative.

Sad thing is, with FM pimping it he might get some of his money back. It's a $10,000 car. In the real world you don't get money back on your mods. FM raped him and has him convinced he'll get some of that money back. Some other rich tool will end up buying it.

I love that his $10000 built engine was burning oil! I've heard others say that FM doesn't build engines very well, I guess this is another example.

FM prolly subs out the work anyway, kinda like they do/did with the turbo kits. I'm sure FM knows a sucker when he sees one. Some m.net tool will buy it.
