Default Oh the decisions......

My Saturday morning reading. Looking over valve seat cutters. I want a few new profiles... what ones to choose???

Over a hundred profiles to choose from. Seat widths, top angles, throat angles

Or do I get some custom ones made?

What a debate in my head over my morning coffee.....

Which ones do you NOT have?

Is there a trend with the new direct inject heads? Try to predict the future and get a tool for that, other wise get them all. Cheap right?

I would skip the one for rotaries, there on the outs, lol.

Oh I have about 50 or so.....

I am slacking on the ones for 30* seats.... not much call for them unless diesel.

The price per blade is not bad $30-$80 each

The is a nice radius one that looks about perfect for unshrouding the valves in the Miata head.

Another I like for intake seats better than the current one I have.

I miss working in the machine shop. My supervisor and I made the sales guy from kennametal bark like a dog once.

Oh, you betcha! The boss had just purchased a gently used Mazak Horizontal Nexus with the optional 80 tool changer. Our tool and insert order arrived by freight
