Default Dst 2007

What stupid ******* idiot decided it made sense to change DST change over from April to March? God damn stupid mother ******* politician, and Canada doesn't have the spin to say "No thanks that's going to be a major pain in the *** for our IT people".

**** sucker, what a pain in the ***. An Microsoft just compounds the problem. There is a patch (well the third really) for XP and 2003, but it didn't come out till Feb 19th. Way to give us a lot of time to deal. On top of that they aren't releasing the patch for 2000 to the general population because window 2000 is end of life, expect for critial patches. WTF? This isn't critical? Microsoft will issue you a patch, but they want $4K for it. Jesus ******* christ.

DST is a stupid goddamn idea anyway. The guy(s) who came up with that as a concept should be drawn and quartered.

ARRRRGGGG

**** me off.

That's it.

Back to rebuilding a perfectly running Calendaring server just because some **** has some bizzare personal agenda. I don't know what the angle is on this, I just hope someone is making $$$ over it.

While not a modern torture, still an effective one. And I'm 35.

I think the logic goes-

"I want to drive home from work in the daylight. Screw the Canadians."

I read somewhere that every day we're in DST the US saves some unbelievable amount of money in energy costs. Since this info came from the gov't, it's even more unbelievable .

All I know is that it'll be light for my ride home, and dark for my ride in.

I can tell you, it's a complete PITA.... all sort of patches, etc.... even crap like rims needs updates.

Oh joy.... there hasn't been this much fun since y2k......

The two weeks it's going to give me, with DST, is probably going to be no advantage up here either.....

Thank you Mr. Bush.....
