one very lucky biker
|
looks like a bunch of squids to me
|
If it was any other car, he would have got ran over.
|
that will make you shit your pants
|
Yup, bunch of squids. Traffic is slow and heavy, and they're playing grab-ass... disaster in the making.
When I ride at night, I wear a pair of Oakley's I bought special for riding, clear polycarbonate lenses so I can have my visor up and still not risk being blinded for life by a rock or bug. That guy wrecked his bike and almost died for no reason other than "fresh air". |
i've been hit in the eye with bugs probably a million times, i have a habit of riding visor up all the time. all you do is close that one eye, stay straight and slow down and look for a spot to pull over, never once swerved into someone. besides i never do congested city riding, there's no point since it's not fun at all.

on my way back from delaware, 3 girls on crotch rockets blew by me doing at least a buck 20
no more then 3 seconds later, 5-7 guys on bikes fly by even faster chasing them very not smart on a side note, it makes me want a bike lol |
and that why you dont ride with the visor open too, i ride with mine cracked at the bottom everytime i ride, and even hot ass florida, it has been plenty of airflow

Or you get sealed glasses. I ride with both at all times.

had a small wasp fly into my helmet once. sometimes maintaining control is more difficult than you think.
i am not condoning the fact that they where riding like they where asking to be the next candidate for the Darwin award though. |
shit man, first that guy is lucky as shit, second who rides with their visor all the way up without some from of eye protection. When I would ride, I would crack the visor at slow speed but if I got above 30 I would have to close it cause the force of the air through that open we mess with my eyes.
I can understand when sitting at a light or stop and go traffic but not riding like that, he is a dumbass who I hope learned his lesson. |
