Just curious if anyone has tried to buy some online. I'm not talking about trying to score some vicadin or some morphine, I'm talking about a low dose medication. When going on these websites my medication is listed, and it is still expensive but lesser so then just paying for it out of pocket. I'm about to lose my insurance and need to find some alternatives.
how many damn scripts do you take geez? i find the general reliance on insurance to be healthy i am seeing in todays society disturbing. If it is mandatory and you can't get by without it it's not insurance its a tax.
I used Canadapharmacy.com since some allergy meds weren't covered by my insurance. They had good prices and a flat fee for lifetime "free shipping". Now I use them for my dad's dog heartworm and flea/tick medication.

I got a 3 month script for my generic cholesterol medicine the other day from Walgreens. My wife was the one who set it up so I don't know too much about it. I had the Dr. write me the normal 30 day script as well as a 90 day script. I don't think it took too many days (7?) for all the paperwork, etc to go through and get it in the mail. Only saved me $10 every 3 months.
We just swapped to high deductible insurance and I won't be taking the meds any longer. When you have to actually pay for visits and pills out of your own pocket it makes you rethink what you are doing. Sure, I'll die of blocked arteries but I will have some extra cash in my pocket.

The bad thing about walmart compared to buying online IMO is that you can get a years supply online, which you cant at walmart. If its something you have to take everyday forever, the more the merrier.

There are only two people who can cook to suit me. My wife and my grandmother (I'll also say my Mother if she is listening). I just cannot get enough of food when they are cooking so I eat like a pig. Good food, no exercise, and poor genetics means high cholesterol. If I drop about 20 pounds it goes back to normal but I just can't seem to push away from the table.
