Paranormal activity

I watched it last night and I almost cried. I felt sick several times, it scared the fuck out of me.. I highly recommend it! Plus there is a NC miata in the first few minutes  Easily the scariest movie I have ever seen. Actually its the only movie I have ever seen that genuinely scared me, I didn't sleep much last night. Anybody else seen it?

Huh?
SHUT UP WOMAN, GET ON MY HORSE!

No but seriously, what?

kenzo42 10-25-2009 05:07 PM

Really? Didn't think it was too scary. Didn't disconcert me one bit.

Wuss.

ismael_pt 10-25-2009 05:12 PM

You must watch Creepozoids.

adamhershner 10-25-2009 05:17 PM

The whole things with demons freaks me out anyways.. I have heard some weird shit up here in these mountains.. At the top of a mountain about twenty minutes from me there is a lot of witchcraft and whatnot, up until a couple years ago they actually sacrificed animals and stuff.. I have been out there at night hunting and heard screams and growling, and saw shadows from like a fire or something, I looked around a while, nobody else was up there.. I left.

SKMetalworks 10-25-2009 05:29 PM

Bigfoot!

ismael_pt 10-25-2009 05:34 PM

Occam's razor says that is the amazing horse

Fireindc 10-25-2009 05:43 PM

I'm gonna go see that shit tonight. Doubt it will faze me.

SamS 10-25-2009 05:59 PM

I watched the 2007 version last night, didn't think it was that scary.

Braineack 10-25-2009 07:13 PM

I streamed it at work. it was lame and boring, so I watched Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie and all was better.

slutz4 10-25-2009 07:17 PM

it wasnt scary at all, the only good thing about the movie, is somebody was able to make alot of money off of a very small budget.

Fidgitk 10-26-2009 12:58 AM

I saw the 2007 version last friday. It was a good movie, but not as scary as the hype machine made it.
But I was truely freaked out in the second to last night scene

adamhershner 10-26-2009 01:00 AM

Yea that scene made me literally sick. And I heard they made the whole movie for $15k

buffon01 10-26-2009 06:03 AM

Isn't that a kids movie that was on disney or ABC family or something? I thought I saw my 10 year old cousin watching that.

neogenesis2004 10-26-2009 01:56 PM

I watched law abiding citizen yesterday. Was pretty cool. I don't do scary movies.

That one was pretty cool I admit. But there's so much more wrong, like I don't think I'd be staying at that house anymore type of thoughts...

case and point.

viperormiata 10-26-2009 02:43 PM

I'm die'n to see this movie! Now that it was finally demanded everywhere I will be able to see it this week!!!!

Braineack 10-26-2009 02:44 PM

prepare to be bored. worst acting ever, boring ass plot, stupid first person 'cam' filming. blair witch was worlds beyond this.

NA6C-Guy 10-26-2009 02:54 PM

I don't think I have ever seen a scary movie that I didn't find to be gay and not scary. Actually there was one that creeped me out a little. It was something about noises and voices on TV and radio static, or something. Came out like 6-8 years ago. For the vast part, the horror genre should be renamed comedy to me. Most of the "classic" scary movies just crack me up and are usually terribly put together with terrible acting.

Braineack 10-26-2009 03:03 PM

white noise?

Blair Witch freaked me out cause it I watched it like 4-5 months before it came out to theaters, first of it's kind really. The only other thing I can remember before that was like when I was 5 and saw 'Terror at 20,000 Feet' on HBO when I wasn't supposed to.

jayc72 10-26-2009 03:08 PM

How did you see BWP before it hit theaters?

White Noise creeped me the fuck out. I remember after watching it I had run to the store. At the time I had an FM transmitter ipod unit that wouldn't turn on with the car, so all you'd get out of the radio was static. Prior to driving the car this time I was rocking out in a serious way, so the volume was at 11. Turned the key with out thinking and BLAMO! That scared the fucking shit out of me. After that I had an aversion to static noise and images on the TV.

I want to see Paranormal Activity. Reminds me of a cross between BWP and Open Water.

The creepiest part of the BWP was the standing in the corner bit. Very disturbing.

My whole drive home consisted of the radio off and me continuously peeking in my rear view to see if something was in my back seat. :giggle: That kind of thing is far more scary to me than axe murderers and serial killers, which really aren't scary at all.

buffon01 10-26-2009 03:28 PM

How real is EVP?? I was reading a bit for wiki, and seems that EVP is been around for a while. White Noise got me a bit paranoid too, although static broadcast has always given me the creeps. O_o

Fireindc 10-26-2009 08:32 PM

Saw the movie last night. It was not the least bit scary, only startled me twice or so. I expected it to be scarier.

dpexp 10-27-2009 06:37 PM
