For those that don't know, that's a S trap in the toilet to keep toxic fumes from coming out. The pic shows him sticking a hose through the trap and breathing the fumes. Best newb ever. |

Better results possible if elbow 10 is rotated 90 degrees. :fawk: :jerkit: |

Wow! How do we elect this best NEWB post ever?!?
If that's a real picture I can see it being something the Israeli's published as what to do in case of a nerve gas attack. If it's a goof it's hilarious. Either way major Kudo's to R808. Good to see Hustler thugging again too. |
gasp, my post warning the mods was deleted. sav?

christ on a cracker...
I predict that coolant wont even flow right with this reroute and the car overheats. |
I don't see any serious fundamental flaws in it, actually. I don't like running the heater core through a separate heat exchanger since it will probably increase coolant temps and comprimise the heater until the motor is warm, but at least he's not running both sides of it to the water pump now :bang:

remember when he said "simple and with the least points of failure as possible"?

lolz.

So much for "least points of failure"
|
if you cant maintain 200*F because of your heat core, then you have bigger issues...
|
I hereby officially dub the engine block coolant port the "Holy Grail Port". :giggle:

Lots of unnecessary bits in there...
|
I'd be much more concerned with fitting an oil cooler than bothering with cooling the heat core return.

Don't worry, I predict this car will end up just like his last one. __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

The check valve is totally useless because there is no way he would end up with reverse flow through the heater. The source from the side of the block is useless if he is not using it for cooling a turbo. All it does is ruining the full coolant flow through the entire engine. To fix it he has to remove these .... Wait, and he would've ended with the proper reroute everyone else have been doing for years ... :bowrofl: |
