Default New miata extreme insider information...

I love how magazines make these huge claims and then show some little fuzzy picture of an old escort with mattresses duct taped to it. Well, here is an email I got from a buddy that works for Mazda after he saw the revised miata. If you don't have a clear picture in your mind after this, you have no creativity!

"Last a couple of days, I have had work in the protoptyle factory, and
found that minor changed miata was there, which had a much
sophisticated design around the front air in take and bumper. It
looked very nice."

Tell no one!

The 2.3 turbo should have been made available a year after the latest model was launched. Its not like they have any cars that it would crowd out.

If they do use the MZR 2.3 Turbo, They better not bitch out and ******* build the thing.... I understand it'll be detuned to around 220hp so it's going to be a similar tune to the CX7, but that also means with a retune you've got a 300 crankshaft horsepower Miata that'd dead solid reliable.

Or at least make forged modules cheaper so I can grab one for my Speed6.....

from my understanding they are cutting the mazdaspeed6 due to poor sales and upping the antie on the mazdaspeed3 by offering them with AWD (focus RS style). At the same time they are planned to provide the 2.3 turbo into the new mazdaspeed miata which is rumored to have ohlins and much more aggressive springs stock.

Why do you think I got the speed6 brand new for 21k?

About six months ago a rumor started from a good source I have that Mazdaspeed was going to do another Speed6 in 2009 with the 3.x liter V6 and twin turbos.. That rumor quickly died, but I actually did spend about 6 seconds considering trading my MS6 in for that, but they'd prolly MSRP that ****** at 45k co try and 'compete' with Audi.

I'm highly satisfied with my MS6, but theres a huge rash of people who think its a hunk of ****.. They're mostly the people who expected Evolution stopping performance upgrade ability out of the car and are disappointed to know when you change your tire size Mazda assfucks your warranty away... And that the motors pop when you upgrade to a GT35 turbo.
