Garrett turbo. Part # 8973525645 (I think its called a GT37VA)

Seems to fit 2004-up powerstroke trucks. Also 2004-2006 GM T800 pick ups, Kodiaks and top kicks. Duramax diesel came up with the part number as well.

Casting marks are .58 on the compressor housing and 0.90 on the turbine housing.

No shaft play and it spins freely.

Came off a truck that was in for service due to lack of power. Turbo was replaced and the truck was still the same. Not sure what the problem was that fixed the issue, I just know that replacement of the turbo didnt solve the problem.

Miles are unknown, and its sold as is with no guarantees expressed or implied.

By searching the part number online I come up with $1450 for one.

What would you guys suggest this one is worth? I have a number in my head, but the place I'm selling it for gave me a number they want for it. I just want to see if I'm a wheeling, dealing, lowball fuck, or if I'm just more realistic with my numbers.

Thanks guys! :bigtu:

Am I the only one who feels cheated because he didn't post the number in his head or the number they gave for it?

I was going to help but now I'm not. So there <G>...

lol

I was guessing it was in the $250-$350 range, tops. The dealer wants $400 for it. I'm surprised he didnt say he wanted $1000, so its not completely outrageous, but its still too high.

Same place wanted $200 bucks for a Cadillac navigation DVD that sells for $20 all year round on ebay, not to mention I saw one end for $5.

I need this guy to let me list everything at .99 with no reserve. Its like, do you want me to liquidate everything, or did you want to keep it all for the years to come?

I think it all depends how fast he wants to get rid of this stuff, the faster he wants it out the cheaper he's gonna have to sell it for, he just needs to understand that. Same problem it's with real state, they get the apraisal and they complain the house it's worth more than that, and they wanna pit the house on the market for more and then they wonder why the house it's not selling. Hmmm maybe you'll sell it in 2-3 years at the price. People just don't understand suppy and demand.
