3rd Cop shot in the last 4 months down here. Not to mention the cop who was shot point blank up in PA. This is very worriesome to me as My brother and a very good friend of mine are both cops down here. I cant understand how you could just shoot someone especially a cop. I must admit, I fear what this World is gonna be like when my son is my age.

first two officers ever shot in my county was by some local high school kid that stole his dads guns and went on a rampage at the police station. (I was on my way past there on my drive home from work.)

FWIW, just happened to be the same high school the guy that shot up Virginia Tech went to.....

Maybe I am just from a different part of town, part of me wonders what the cops were really up too. We have had to much dirty **** on our cops recently, i doubt the public outrage here would be anything.

i just came out of traffic school last night, the instructor told me that there have been 2 hit and runs on cycle highway patrolmen recently, not quite as bad as begin shot in cold blood, but when an officer loses their life, whats the difference? i dont think their families care how it happened, they just miss their father/husband/brother/uncle etc . .
not arguing . . just adding to what your saying.
