During it's developement cycle cars will wear various forms of camouflage. If you compare pictures of the new GTR at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and that pic of the GTR in game they're pretty much the same. Makes sense since around the time that the GTR was being developed and GT was being developed it was in that form of disguise.

I just want a miata, c6z, 787B, and an F1 car. I also hear that you must buy track access too. I'd rather drop $200 and drive my car on a real track.

I always bought a miata, maxed it out, and ran up through the ranks until I could afford a prototype. This was before I owned a miata. lulz

I don't think you need to buy tracks.... I think that was a model they threw out there but canned in the end.

wtf, how is this legal??? i want a PS3, help me out guys, i haven't played video games in about 4-5 years...i know some of you think im pathetic for it, butim so out of the gaming world its insane, last game i played was GT2 and i have some insane fast cars, like 11000 hp amg 55, 4600hp skyline, etc.

I think hes exposing himself, it might be legal through ebay, but there are weird rules for stuff like this especially if your accepting money. Thats why all the commercial giveaways have no purchase necessary to get around some of the rules

To clarify, GT5 PROLOGUE is released today. GT5 won't be out until '08.

I have been trying to decide which system to buy for a while now. I have only purchased Playstations because of the GT series, but I heard of the bs they had with buying tracks and cars. I LOVE the series and have played the hell out of them. I refuse to buy extra shit when I bought a $60 game.

I saw the new Ace Combat for 360, it is very tempting.

If they're going to make me pay for cars and racetracks, I'll get a 360 and Forza 2. I never thought another game could hold a candle to GT, but Forza is fucking good.

I got a 360 specifically for Forza2 and DiRT.

Anyone else having a problem getting Prologue? I didnt see it on the DL list?

DiRT is on both. I never got a chance to play forza yet

I know DiRT is on both, but since I have a 360 and bought it before it came out I just said for DiRT as well. I'll be buying a PS3 probably next Spring or Summer for GT.

My roommate's 360 came with Forza 2, so I play that when he's not beating Halo 3 or Guitar Hero 3 :dancegay:

Forza 2 is fantastic. Mabye a tiny bit less realistic, but you can actually slide the cars, which is next to impossible in GT4. You can also do motor swaps and a variety of other stuff in Forza.

GT5 has competition.
