If it was closer, I'd buy it.

I watched an auction for a fairly beat up 90 with a busted short nose crank and a worn soft top (no hard top). I was interested in the car because it was local and I figured it would be cheap. It went for $3k. |
that car was INSANE when the motor was in it, now the motor is in a tubbed tube frame car.
I will never forget riding in the 600rwhp Miata, its unbelievable. |
drop a cobalt SS/SC engine in it, get stage two, and viola, you have a 270 hp SC miata
|
God, that car is fugly. If i bought the car I would have to ditch the hood, headlights, and taillights for stockers and get a black paintjob at the very least for me to like it. Personally stock body kit is my favorite by far.
edit, did i mention i dont like the rims either? |

Dave, |
originally he was planning on keeping the yellow car and dropping in a more "mild" motor, which to him was more along the lines of 400-450rwhp.
|
He said as soon as that car made the 616 that the chassis was way overstressed and the big motor was going in a tube frame car.
|
Now a reason to see my turbo car and but a LS1 or better beast.
It would give a good starting point for a Monster Miata. My problem is getting it to Alabama. Having the steering rack would make easier to move. |
