I saw this parked on the street yesterday:
If I owned that, I think I'd spring for the extra $500 a month to get a parking space for it in a garage. But that's just me...
This morning I saw this:
No surprise that it's from Florida, but a tad surprised that the owner bothers with the bumper badger, given the overall shitty quality of the body in general.
And also saw this, which was really surprising given that it has diplomatic plates and yet was on the UWS:
I'm really curious to know which ambassador is driving a mint condition '75-'79 Super Beetle.
And finally, an annoying motorcycle with a single-sided swingarm and a hollow axle:

Actually, you see a lot of interesting stuff just walking to work each day through Manhattan.
Like a really large metal bird:
And this guy praying, while facing east:
And what I assume is art, but I'm not 100% certain:
And this sticker on the base of a lamp post:
Satan™, the trusted name in ceramics.
And this situation, in which the light is both red and green:
And this very appealing example of breakfast:
And this lobster-vending cart:
And this other thing which I think might also be art:
And just a bunch of people in general:
And geese:
And *****-cat:
And bridge:
And the USS Intrepid:
And the State of New Jersey, which is best appreciated from a distance:

I also found out where they store the surplus giant stone cow heads:
As well as the surplus giant stone ram heads:
And the MiB headquarters:
And this is a falafel sandwich from a food cart being consumed at the base of 1 WTC about halfway through a 16 mile walk on a warm, sunny Saturday, which is the randomest thing I can think of right now, other than the story dispenser.
And the aforementioned story dispenser:
Which is why I heart NY.

Most of the German cars you see around international row are Mercs. Nice ones. Guess someone at the consulate office has a sense of nostalgia.
I have seen some seriously attractive women going into and out of that office, BTW. God damn, was I ever born in the wrong country...
