I just had a pt cruiser non turbo in the shop a few weeks ago.

The guy came in requesting a water pump. After finding out that it had been leaking pretty bad for a while and was one and a half gallons low on antifreeze, I tested the coolant for hydrocarbons... Long story short, he over-heated the crap out of it and warped the head. Oh goodie I thought, one of my favorite cars to do a head on. This POS nightmare of a job took me about 12hrs to complete over two days and cost the guy 2 grand.

These cars are complete garbage. Not only is the engine shoehorned into the engine compartment so tight you could fuc.k it, but the lower control arm bushings tear after about 10k miles, the outer tierods get looser than Dan Savage's *** after 15k miles, and the rear suspension has a wonderfully designed component called a "watts bell crank" that when worn, causes the rear end to sound like you've been rear-ended by a tank when you hit a bump.

It does have some pretty sweet headroom though.

While I dont disagree with you that they are ----, the watts link, its actually a really good design, just poorly executed by daimler chrysler. If you look at the Fbody platform they run a panhard bar, straight bar running from the body across to the rear, and it gives you some strange characteristics in cornering, like jacking up on side of the car, plus the rear doesnt stay center.

The watts link allows a live axle to always stay centered.

Picture thread so

The original Locost was designed with a Watts link. From everything I've seen, it works well.

The work well as long as dodge didnt build them, he right about them lasting about 15K miles and miles and making a god awful noise when they go bad

I was kinda upset that they didn't use Noob Saibot or Ermac.

Subzero and Scorpion get all the glory.

^^^I cannot stand people who complain about studying. Especially the ones who's parents are paying for their education. I would ------- MURDER someone to have my school paid for me.

Garage guy: He is a complete tool bag, however, the cops did the wrong thing by going up to him. They should have left him alone to stay in his garage and continue to be a tool bag. Yelling "****" is hardly disturbing the peace. They did not accomplish anything by arresting him.
