Amusing fact:
This evening as I was out working in the garage, a boy of perhaps 8 years old approached on his little BMX bike with two flat tires, asking if I had a tire pump. As the compressor was already aired up, I dragged the hose over and quickly filled his tires to 45 PSI. While doing this, he looked at my car and asked "is that a Mustang?"

Ow, damn it! It could have been MUCH deeper. I lucked out. It continues another several inches up the back of my knee, and my lower thigh. When I first got a good look at it covered in blood, it looked much worse. I was sure I was about to make a trip to the ER and have it cleaned out and stitched up. Once I cleaned it up, it didn't look bad at all. Maybe I won't get tetanus, since the metal was a bit rusty.
