It was happy old red VW weekend for me. Saw this street parked outside of Frankfurt on Sunday:
It was pristine. And I don't mean that the way guys call their 10 year-old cars "mint." The paint looked brand new, I didn't see a single scratch or blemish, the interior showed no fading or wear, and the odometer had 77,000 km on it (less than 50k miles).
Then on Monday I was on my way home from the airport and happened upon this:
I'm not sure which I want more, but I think it's the Golf.

The red Golf is from Groß-Gerau, a town southwest of Frankfurt. It lies between Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, and Darmstadt.
They also made some others that never came over to the states.
