The Porsche GT3-R Hybrid is a racing prototype only. Porsche has not put any hybrid technology into it's normal production street cars yet. While similar in looks to the GT3/RS, it's not a road car. That's like saying that the 3-rotor RX-8 that runs in Grand-Am GT is a road car just because of the production 2-rotor RX-8 that you can buy from Mazda.

I understand what you're saying. The GT3-R model is not available at dealerships, and isn't in mass production at the moment. But it shares the same base platform as all the other GT3s, so the distinction is purely managerial.
But to me, this would be the same as saying that the "club sport" version of the Miata would have ceased to become a road car the moment Mazda put a prototype hybrid drivetrain into it and started experimenting with it at Laguna Seca.
He has started chapter 2. I wanted to wait until it's done so that the whole thing can be posted, rather than doing it piecemeal.
