Found some interesting **** while clearing out an old storage closet.

This is a 30 second commercial:

Each of these tape cartridges held a maximum of 60 seconds. The tape inside is 2" wide, and the format was a variant of the old Ampex Quadruplex system originally designed in the 1960s.

They were plugged into a player which stored them on a rotating carousel, so that it could automatically load and play the tape by itself.

I love how the video refers to the TCR-100 as "compact in size."

holy ****. Separate oil drain tank in wheel well with an expensive gear pump mounted in engine compartment that's run slow with a DC motor controller because it was too loud. I'm sure there's more but that's where the video stopped when I randomly clicked on the slider bar.

"How to keep your girlfriend's Miata down for 6 weeks while you cobble together a bunch of half-assed modifications we found on the internet that don't work properly and add dozens of new points of failure (and by the way, we can mark up and resell all of this crap we found on the internet to you so you can be miserable and curse our incompetent asses)"

^A long title and I still left out a bunch.
They should stick to making their girlfriends' lives difficult and not sell their trouble to others.

So, without wasting 40 minutes of my time, can someone tell me why this is so horrible? Ebay parts?

I believe it is a CXRacing manifold, he uses a voodoo box, routes the oil drain into a container then uses a pump to pump it back into the oil cap, has a large *** turbo on the car it looks like. Maybe a few other things of stupidness. Also racing in Mexico.

He posted just an unbelievable retarded writeup claiming it to be authoritative. Voodoo box for 300 HP, overly complex electric oil drain pump to return turbo oil up into the valve cover because "it's not like a Honda, I can't even see the oil pan down there. We literally can't get to it," and so on.

Best part is that he can bring all this goodness to you in a kit

At the 35:20 mark:

"Hit me up if you're interested in making your Miata run like this. I can put all these components together for you in a kit, uhm, so you just get a hold of me, and i'll get you everything, you won't have to do any of the homework yourself. Slap 'er together, follow the video, and your Miata will be rippin."

I also like that he had to modify the manifold and made it seem like it was no big deal. Honestly I put out a better video minus the IC setup well over a year ago. Mine actually talks about what you are doing and shows it all verses him just showing its done and then talking about it.

Justinsane is posting his aids to all FB miata groups, it's a sad day . But I suspect most miata FB users are in the same group whom fill their crankcase with water because it's overheating .
