Well, the reality of the situation is that I already have NESticle, and a USB gamepad, and thus I have everything under the sun.

The idea here is mostly that it would look cool sitting next to my miniature Atari 2600.

Much more than $60 bucks for a good Rpi emulator, at least in my experience. Even if it's not portable.
