I did log the back pressure on the FM exhaust, there's maybe half a psi in the muffler, it's not an issue. The cat that I had on there at the time, OTOH...

Random pictures...

Ok, this is how you know that you're not exactly on the good side of town:

That was a "sporting goods" store that turned out to sell nothing but sneakers, jerseys, and hats. I did not find what I was looking for, which led me to....

WalMart. (Gods help me, I figuratively never enter WalMart, but I needed a specific thing which the girl with pink hair at the hats-and-shoes store who could scarcely be troubled to look up from her cell phone long enough to acknowledge the presence of a customer told me I could find there) and I'm pretty certain that every single morbidly obese person in the greater Chicagoland area was there. If they weren't, that means that there are more of them, and I fear for humanity. But I saw this at the checkout, while waiting for an upstanding-looking citizen to sort through her several social-welfare-benefits cards to pay for a cart full of frozen pizzas, frozen tater tors, soda pop, ice cream, cookies, etc. I swear, there was not a singe thing in that cart which qualified as "food" by any reasonable definition of the word. People who say that welfare / food-stamp programs are not abused has clearly never been to WalMart.

Yup, Cosplayers have their own magazine now.

And moving on, here's three bearded, heavily tattooed dudes giving kick-*** haircuts while Jimi Hendrix, The Mammas & The Pappas, Fleetwood Mac, etc., blasts out on the stereo.

There is nothing in this world which compares to a fresh barber-shave. It may be life's most fleeting and yet most gratifying indulgence.

I stopped at the Circle K in Wiscasset Maine at 1 a.m. on a Friday to get some milk and beer last year. The two guys in front of me were checking out with a couple of 40's, 3 hot dogs, an order of nachos and a salad. As expected, their EBT cards rejected the beer, but it also rejected the salad. The manager said that was correct, because it was a PREPARED salad. The only thing approaching healthy food was exempt from the supplementary nutrition program. No such problem for the hot dogs and nachos.

You see some unusual stuff in stores on the third shift.

Found this one in a bathroom. Apparently sitting on a toilet needs instructions now.
