Prost!

Can be upgraded unnecessarily. I think I still have the original hoses...

the oil change on my prelude is the worst. there's no way to prevent oil from dripping directly on the exhaust; and on a flexpipe to boot. it's also on firewall side of the motor and very high on the block, so you have to jack the car pretty high and crawl all the damn way under.

my MB has the oil filter up on the front top of the motor and it's so amazing to replace.

My S2K also has an enviable filter location compared to my Miata. Easy to reach and doesn't drip on anything on the engine or in the bay.

My wife HAD a dodge journey. I traded it in before the 2nd battery change. You know why? It's in the front fender in front of the drivers wheel and total torture to take out and change. When it got to 3 years after I replaced the first one, time for a new car for her.

Bosch Distance Plus MPV sized (D3323)

Throw in some Castrol Edge LL01 spec and change oil once or twice a year with zero *** given.

Yup, that's the exact same one I was looking at.

I normally use the filter for a Honda B18B engine (Integra, Civic, etc) but the canister OD is too large for the base of the Thompson thingy.

Yep, I'm 36 in a few days and identify with these all far too much.

I was watering the lawn today and this popped into my head. The whole thing is funny but this Mel Blanc part in particular (at 24:40) is now part of my DNA.

"We sure are melancoco... melancoco... pretty darn sad!"

It is not nearly as funny when you are in your 50's. It all hurts worse.
