Yup, that it is.
I remember when reasonable-quality test equipment was expensive and difficult to come by. Now, I have a little thing that plugs into my laptop via USB which cost $100 (in today's near-worthless money) and does 10x as much as a scope that cost $1,000 (in valuable, 1980s money.)
Serious question: I wonder if it was like this right at the dawn of the industrial revolution. Were people like "Holy ****, Amos! A hammer like this used to take a whole day for a blacksmith to forge, and cost nearly a dollar! Now you can buy them by the dozen for one chicken each at Ezra's Opium Den & Hardware Emporium!"

The school buses are fuggen lame!
I usually go to the season final of this every year. It's a blast.
Edit* in fact that particular race i had the boat on display for one of my sponsors, who also happened to be sponsoring someone in this race. There was also a decent fight this race, i believe it was with two cars that hit each other on lap 4.

FIBA: Australia vs Philippines:
In Australia, basketball is a sporting minnow compared to Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Cricket - this game was almost as exciting as an Ice Hockey match though!
(full-on brawling has pretty much been eliminated from Aussie Rules Football and Rugby these days).
I doubt we'll ever see this again in basketball at an international level, even the official commentators were shocked at what they were seeing.
