You look around what do you see?
I'll tell you what I see is a world belonging to me
Take time to find what you may dream
It's all right there within your grasp
Just beyond what you can see

We're the ones, only ones, strong ones, proud ones
We're living for today
Those for the past and tomorrow well they'll have hell to pay

And if your days are going by too fast
It's time for you to slow down
It's time for you to make it last
Before you trip and slip
And you will miss
This happy little stepping stone
Just before eternal bliss

We're the ones, only ones, strong ones, proud ones
We're living for today
Those for the past and tomorrow well they'll have hell to pay

Your life goes by
Before you know
You gotta take time to slow down
Better take time to veer off the road
Enjoy the sights
While you are here
There's nothing to fear but fear itself
Who knows when the end is near

We're the ones, only ones, strong ones, proud ones
We're living for today
Those for the past and tomorrow they'll have hell to pay

Don't make plans
With your hands tied
You'll never know
You're missing out repeatedly
On the things that help you grow
You've got to own your soul
You've got to take control
Find a one day plan young man
Get this straight
Live for today

Living for today, I realize
Living for today, I think I'll find
Living for today, I open my eyes
Living for to--, one day you can throw it away

Joe- spend some coin on some excellent shoes while you go through this back thing. These are probably the very best shoes I've ever worn. Adidas has a proprietary TPU foam they're using ("Boost") that is worlds better than any competing EVA based shoe. So far, I like the Supernova 8 the very best. This shoe lasts about 2x the mileage of any other EVA shoe I've ever worn.

It's hard for me to find good athletic shoes, since I wear a size 14 and have absolutely no arch whatsoever.

I recently retired a pair of Reebok Hexaffects (yes, I know, Reebok sucks, boo hoo. These were amazing jogging shoes) after a little over a year of 6-10 miles per day. Replaced them with a new pair of Reebok Runners, which are still getting broken in. (Now that I'm a car-owner again, I don't put nearly as many miles on my feet as I used to.)

But the fact is that I work in a professional environment, and clean boots are the expected attire. In the winter, I wear Timberland Titans (since I can also drive in them), and in the summer, I drive in the Reeboks and switch to Red Wing 878 Trailblazers when I get to my office (they're more stylish and durable, but too large for me to work the pedals while wearing.) I can't really wear sneakers all day at the office.

In all honesty, though, footwear isn't the issue here. My boots are comfortable and supportive, and my major back-stressers at work are more a matter of bending / crawling / lifting than anything else. Besides, sneakers suck majorly when climbing ladders / walking on steel grids / etc.

All of the most recent episodes have been triggered by an activity other than walking. The first was sifting through cables in a computer floor, the second was crouching over to repair a sink drain, and the third was repeatedly getting into and out of a lowered NB with the top up. These were all "bending over" type activities.

He was kinda crazy, but old enough to prove that sometimes crazy works...

A friend of mine used to jam a screwdriver into a bunch of bare wires to get them to short, thereby flipping the breaker without having to walk to it.

Just an epic race lap on the Nurburgring. Scattered weather track like this is where skill and experience pay big dividends.

I was told that old timers used to put their fingers across the fuses to test if they were good or not (making their thumb and index finger a parallel path to the fuse).

I know Sabine has a million laps on that track, but damn that is impressive with what ease she passed everyone with! It looked like me playing Gran Turismo back in the day when my car had 200 hp more than all the others and I just drove around all of them.

The speed that she passed some of the cars made me think she had 200hp more. 1:00 for example.
