Same thing happened to me when I was working in a SpeeDee Oil Change shop a few years ago. Dude pulls in with some hooptie spray painted up to look like spiderman with 22 inch rims complaining about his breaks overheating. lol. It takes us 20 minutes just to get the drum cool enough to take off with rags over our hands. We basically tell him his breaks are fucked, along with a bunch of his suspension components and give him a reasonable price to get them fixed. He just gives us a deer in the headlights look and says something like, "Man I got kids, man, I gotta feed, man, I can't be spendin' that kind o' dough." and then he leaves. My boss said he wouldn't have even let us look at it if we hadn't been so slow because he knew the guy wasn't gonna get anything done.
Looked a lot like this, but without as much attention to detail.

^ There aren't enough random pictures in the world to finish that discussion with the brain.

Too bad it didn't get moved to the Politics section for the ensuing "workers rights" debate.

I am positive that that's where I posted this. If you click on the little button next to "Tyler Durden", it even takes you 2ndGear's fish post in the "embrace communism" thread.
