So, to be clear:

You are not OK with police officers murdering black people who you don't know and contorting civil forfeiture laws for their own personal gain in places where you've never been, however you have no problem at all stealing from restaurants which participate in the economy and tax base of your own community?

Are you deliberately ******* with me, or is that actually how you perceive reality?

(You know that restaurants stock little disposable to-go cups that you can use to transfer sauce into from the ramekin, thus achieving the goal of keeping your fifteen cents' worth of leftover sauce without engaging in larceny, right?)

I keep forgetting that's what Zatko looked like in the 90s. Funny that he gave the keynote at BlackHat in 2011.

Wiki pic form 2013 working for DARPA, even hackers can clean up rather well. I've also got Kevin Poulsen's book sitting on my nightstand right now, someday I'll actually get around to reading it.

Never read Kingpin, but I remember reading all about his exploits (as well as Mark Abene, Kevin Mitnick, John Lee, and that whole generation who existed in the transitional age when the phone system tightened down and the early computer networks opened up.

I met Mitnick (very briefly) when we were both doing some work for Clear Channel radio in LA. Sadly, he is kind of an *******.

I feel like we will never have this opportunity again, at least not for another couple of generations. I caught the tail end of this "golden era" right before the government really caught on and right as litigation moved from logical punishments for the crimes rather than the fear and ignorance based "set the example" sentencing that is being used nowadays.

Also, thanks for the book recommendations, I've seen but not read a fair few of these. I shall add then to my wishlist

I met him at a book signing and small social event after and I also got that feeling. He does have one of the coolest business cards ever:

How the hell do those work? Please tell me this is a joke.
Definitely in for video to see what looks like stanced, then 180* later, unstanced.
How would the studs even go through the wheels right? This is completely asinine.

the studs would go through fine, the holes are perpendicular to the flat flange.

the wheel won't mount flush, the spacer will bend, and the car will probably just vibrate like hell before dying in fire.

I have to assume that it's either a joke, or someone is about to learn a think or two about three-dimensional geometry.

Speaking of geometry...

Since Emilio was nice enough to share a link with us for a website that allows you to easily to rough fluid-dynamic modelling (eg: wind-tunnel simulation), I decided to have a definitive look at the aerodynamic properties of a **** and *****:

It's a surprisingly efficient shape.
