In this way, it's like Pusha's ego. You know that there must logically be a limit to it, but you can never really get there.
If someone here would care to step outside of the universe and snap a picture of it for me, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Sliders are a form of cultural appropriation.
Used to be that if you wanted to enjoy a few of these little gut-bombs, you needed to live in an economically-depressed region (such as Ohio), and be sufficiently broke / stoned / etc to think that going to White Castle was a good idea.
Now, it seems like every other high-end restaurant in the country has a plate of 'em for $15 or more. Some even fill them with fancy, bourgeoisie ingredients such as crab and shrimp, rather than the correct USDA canner-grade beef.
