IIRC, a hen that has been retired from laying duty and turned into lunch is called a "stewing hen", and tend to be a lot tougher (and also more flavorful) than most of the chicken sold in the US. You can't really buy them any more, I suspect they're used for chicken nuggets or something.

Audio"phobe"... you mean somebody who hates listening to music? If serious, I get the joke.

If you mean audiophile, then I would say only if your budget was $100 and you could only buy speakers from Craigslist. Those appear to Infinity SM-series, which were mid-grade in the Infinity lineup 30yrs ago. Good speakers for the living room then, yes. Good speakers for your party basement today, yes. "Audiophile speakers"... I'm sure there are some enthusiasts out there who love the sound of these and proudly display them... but far more purists who would use them for firewood.

Oh, and those are 15" woofers.

My first set of gigantic ridiculous college speakers were DCM KX12's... bought them in Riverside,CA when the local Circuit City folded around '98... I didn't know it then, but the bullet tweeter was a panty-dropper. Powered them with an OAF Sansui receiver. All my bro's were jealous.

Audiophile, yes my bad.
I just checked the model and yes they are the infinity Studio Monitor 255 model and you are correct, they are 15s. It's been a while since I swapped the foam surround and for some reason i thought they were 18s since then. Anyways, they sound pretty good so i'm happy. Not sure where you'll find them for 100 bucks though. Now i'm interested.

I was served horse while at a restaurant in Switzerland. Cow is better.

I saw this device it at thrift shop today but I'm not exactly sure how one would use it.
