Reminds me of a popular bus company in Germany.

No... That's clearly a Sinko De Mayo right there.

^ Well that sucks.

In other news, we can all go home now. This guy posted the best snarky comment possible.

The winning bike rider is an ex racer and a current Member of the Parliament in AKP (the ruling party) ranks, so I somehow am not able to shake the idea that this whole thing could be rigged to make him look good.

I can't help but assume, as someone who has lived in all manner of high-density urban housing (from simple 2 story wood-framed structures in SoCal to Manhattan mid-rise buildings to the 53rd floor of the tallest building on the north side of Chicago), that missboston1399 weighs at least 250 lbs, is not light of step, and is either an early riser or a night-owl.

I've dealt with her kind before. Without admitting any specific guilt, the Loctite two-part liquid epoxy which comes in a conjoined syringe and has an integrated mixing nozzle is amazingly good stuff.

A single toothpick is cheaper, much faster to "deploy", leaves no mess, and the result is instant.

True, but they're also easy for the condo maintenance man to remove from the outside, and subsequently keep his mouth shut about in exchange for $100.

This as opposed to having the fire department demolish the entire wall surrounding the door and then hiring a contractor to rebuild it at significant cost, which makes it impossible for the teenage perpetrators to hide their guilt from the parents who were away for the weekend. (And also involving the police, bearing in mind that the minimum drinking age in the US is 21, and that marijuana is still illegal in most states.)

Having no knowledge of such an event having ever occurred, my assumption is that the first such instance would be the *LAST* loud party ever to occur in said residence at 2am.

I was struck by the thought that it would have been a much more expensive building to build in other parts of the world.
