I would definitely choose an NSX over a GT-R as my daily, even if for some magical reason I was completely unable to turbocharge it. Same reason I'd choose an Elise over a Charger, even if the Charger had been pushed around the 'Ring a bit faster. It's just a nicer car.

Not to mention the Charger is a fat-body with an ugly rear end, whereas the Lotus is a beautiful, lightweight mechanism of speed and g-forces.

Fat (kinda fugly IMO) GT car:

Interesting facts about Leonid Brezhnev:

Leonid Brezhnev is the only person in the USSR who was honoured with the Gold Star medal five times.

He is also the only one whose Order of Victory has been revoked.

Some say that his peculiar pronunciation was connected with a jaw wound which he received duing the war. However, according to other sources, he’s never been wounded.

Leonid Brezhnev enjoyed playing dominos.

After the movie ‘Soldier of the War’ where E. Matveev played the role of Brezhnev, some Russians observed that the cult of personality is reviving and this time it’s about Brezhnev.

Brezhnev rooted for the football club ‘Spartak’ and often attended their games.

Wow. Whats with all the hate on the GT-R? I love Nissan and while I've never driven a GT-R, everyone I've talked to that has says they're great. And as for the NSX, they're cool cars, but I think over hyped. There is something to be said for simple cars, but I think their name is far bigger than their performance. But once again I have never had the opportunity to drive one so I'm open to changing my opinion should that change.

EDIT:

This is in the same race BTW and proves Hondas suck.

It's not hatred, I just think that for the past decade or two, the whole "Ooh, the Skyline must be such a 133t car cuz' we can't get 'em here" schtick has resulted in the GT-R being placed upon far too high a pedestal. I'm sure it's a nice car, but I also think that it's over-hyped and over-priced.

I can definitely agree with everything but the last sentence. I can't remember which mag it was but C&D or R&T did a comparo that put the GT-R up against the big name super cars that cost two or three times as much and the GT-R did better than a lot of them. If I wasn't in NJ at my gf's house then I'd go through my magazine collection and find it and take a pic.

I took this at Summit Point in Va a couple years ago and talked to the guy that owns it. Hi said it was a really fun car to dd and then race on the weekend. He liked how it had modern luxuries but could still keep up with a lot of cars on the track that got rid of such things to save weight.

It's kind of like the world's best Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. It's cool how capable it is and how much technology they packed into it, but I'd still rather have this:

+1

The GTR is too expensive, too big, the front is heinuous, and they require frequent service intervals to maintain warranty coverage. There is also a negative side.

I still don't get why Nissan only paints the car in plain, boring as **** colors. Sure the red is bright, but it's a flat red- boring. The blue is dark. They need to do some real colors. If it's going to be ugly, at least make it stand out...that's what Lamborghini does and it works well for them.

Please elaborate. I can't think of a car manufacturer that is better as a whole (reliable, good performance for the price, makes nice sedans, sports cars, and everything between) than Nissan. The only thing they have against them is the Cube, but thats really more of a cultural thing. They should have just kept it to Japanese markets where the people like that kind of styling.

2011 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE coup- WANT

Honda and Toyota are significantly more reliable according to everyone who knows anything about something.

The altima coupe........ The car namers for Nissan just got F-in lazy. WTH. It should have a different name not Altima. The altima has always been a 4 door car. Ok I am done. I just never will understand the rational behind it.
