I just picked up the nikon sb-700 and I still learning its greatness. This has a diffuser and two colored filters for florecent and tungstun lighting. I have a cheap little remote umbrella softbox stand thing for it.
I like it. In the past Ive always used manual flashes (no TTL) and have made a number of paper reflectors and diffusers with mixed results.
I feel that the little softbox works better than anything Ive made in the past right out of the box. Plus, it folds up flat and can slip into your pocket, which I find very handy.

When I want to get real serious I just aim the flash straight up so it can be a trigger for this:

yeah I still have my little sb-400 so I can trigger the sb-700, since I bought my d3100 without knowning all the extra features I was missing out on...like remote triggering like all the rest of the bodies would do. hell it doesn't even have IR remote capabilities.

damn, i'm really glad the cop stopped that guy going the wrong way.

How many of us have had close calls by people driving the wrong way on a highway? Happened to me a few times.

Happened to me too several times.

I wanna know more details about both of those videos. Can't believe the first video, that was some risky ish but what choice did he have?? The shooter could've easily jumped out of the way and opened fire on the car, or turned and opened fire on the car while STEPPING out of the way..

I guess I've been lucky with respect to oncoming traffic on an interstate. Never seen that in person, and never want to.

The Germans call them Geisterfahrer, translating to "ghost drivers" when they are going the wrong way on the autobahn, in the left lane at night with no lights on.
