Can't find any info after the release on bail. Remember charged is not convicted.
His Dad came in after ChuckyZ disappeared (was sitting in jail) and as far as I know, made everything right with the buyers. He sold and shipped parts to help fund the defense and bail costs. |
Yeah, AFAIK, all were made whole. Dad paid me back for the bad injectors, plus extra to cover my return shipping.

I have been meaning to check on what the deal was with that. Teddy (ChuckyZ) is a friend of a aquantance. I saw him after he got out on bail and I immediately left. Freaked me the hell out. They were all hanging out like it was normal.

I think rlogan got the motor...I got the suspension.
Chucky's dad was telling me stories about all the guys stuffing big parts (trannies and motors) into their Miatas since I was the last one to show. His dad was a real stand-up guy, and I really felt sorry for him having to go through that. I tried looking up what happened to Chucky, but haven't seen anything. Big thanks to our wonderful judicial system. |

now don't think that i'm sticking up for this idiot. but i know what i saw. and after seeing somebody's post on the orig. thread, i thought i would make a video myself. the last video somebody made, the guy said that he only took out the rubber seal. and he assumed that with a hood riser it would make it suck even more air in.
as i said before, my car isn't a stock miata. maybe my splitter helps, or the fact that i have a huge cutout in the bumper, or that i have the turn signals removed. but hot air IS escaping from under the hood. YouTube - hood risers let heat out |
