Default Help needed today or tomorrow near St.Louis MO. Is there a local BMW club?

I have a friend moving from Louisville KY to Phonix and their 1989 750iL had the coolant expansion tank break in O'Fallon IL. They need to be in Phoenix on monday. Is there any chance anyone knows someone or has an expantion tank that fits E34 530i 540i from 1993-1995 and E32 740i 740il 750il from 1988-1994?

It would be needed either this evening or early tomorrow morning.

I figure it can't hurt to ask.

I see 3 740's at
Pick-n-Pull - St. Louis
7557 Hall Street, St. Louis, MO 63147 US
314-383-2333

There are a bunch of salvage yards on the IL side of the river that may have something as well. If he needs somewhere to work and can limp it to St Charles, MO, I have a driveway and tools.

Thank for the tip and offer! The car wouldn't make it that far since it overheats fairly quickly sucking air into the system.

I tried searching on car-parts.com but nearest I could find with any was 265 miles from there.

We shot st. Louis BMW owners club an email. Wost case he gets a plane to phoneix and come back for the car next weekend. Work starts on monday morning.

Have you tried the appropriate regional section on bimmerforums.com?

We did ask around there. Nothing available locally in time so he hopped a flight last night down to phoenix. Need to figure out how to get the car down. Another problem for anothe day.
