Rice or nice you decide!
I'm leaving the movies tonight and look across the parking lot for my Genesis. I notice out of the corner of my eye this brite car with graphics. Holy crap its 2001, a flood of emotions swelled up inside of me as I flashed back to the original movie. I remember leaving the theater in my 1989 Prelude SI 4WS that had a wing, flowmaster, konig tantrums, custom leather interior, 2 kicker solobaric 10's, blue headlights. I remember racing every car on the way home. I laugh at myself and thin vomit a little in my mouth.
The car then starts magically on its own like I willed it to do so. I look around the parking lot. Who could possible have the keys to this Magic Unicorn? I look back at the car and ...poof...poof, the doors fly open like some kind of time machine...Delorean. The couple slide in without having to touch the car, no cold steal handle on their hands. Just warm prewarmed pleather. They reach up and close the doors almost in a way to tell me, "we're still humans". He reaches for the shifter and I hear the car kick down to overdrive. It leaves on the 1200 stall, he looks over at me and with his eyes says, "I'm too cool to shift, what you gonna do? Bust a move?"

All I can say is danger to manifold...
I actually really miss those days. For a few years after that movie there were ricers EVERYWHERE! You could get a "race" out of someone nearly every time you went anywhere, which made for much laughter and enjoyment from me racing red light to red light against anybody in a Honda with a big wing and a loud muffler. I was hoping Tokyo Drift would have the same affect, but it didn't jump start the ricer scene like I had hoped.

i have a "friend" who still drives his prelude like that that supra in the clip. I don't ride with him much and he doesn't drive my car ever. Good video game competition though.

Big time FAIL. Look at those 2 cars. Nobody in their right mind can even tell me that the big gay winged Supra is cooler than that Ferrari.
I have no idea who ever would've thought that having a wing that big would mean you're cool, and people buy into this stuff. Then they drive around like they have something, and the rest of us laugh at them and they don't even understand.

Eh, that looks too fast. Put some 25lb 18'' wheels on it, some more crazy shapes in a rainbow of colors and a crooked double tipped muffler and it would be something special.
