Rollin on 30s

dumbest shit I've seen to date: 85 Caprice ($500) on 30" wheels ($30,000)

MX_Eva 03-13-2007 05:52 PM

Holy crap that is retarded, not to mention he could only afford 2! Honestly you couldn't even jack those wheels to sell because no one else is stupid enough to try and use em.

blackflag 03-13-2007 06:06 PM

Ben 03-13-2007 06:11 PM

:dunno:
One of my clients had 26" wheels one of his cars. He told me the tires were HAND CUT, special made. :eek4:

BTW, it was on a Ferrari. And it looked GOOD.

sway bar help any? heh

I bet those clear 30" wheels were poorly engineered by some schmuck with a customs shop that specializes in bolting on wheels and tires. Huge safety risk and I wish the police would arrest the mofo and the shop owner for public endangerment.

Seriously? Unless your doing some cool weight saving shit or interesting process,

id guess those things weigh a ton and will survive a grenade, and as for the machining any trained monkey can do that along with balancing it.

Whoa Just saw it, Forget what i wrote above i assumed they were the shit ive seen around here... Yeah, I like how in the picture two on the passenger side are different.

Trent 03-13-2007 09:35 PM

these stupid cars are EVERYWHERE here in the dirty south. Annoying as hell.

spike 03-13-2007 10:07 PM

I have yet to see the purpose of these stupid looking cars.

Braineack 03-13-2007 10:26 PM

getsidewaysd1 03-14-2007 12:55 AM

I was more concerned with the fact the lugs go through the plexi glass instead of through a central metal structure... those relatively tiny mounting holes are seeing far more load (with threads increasing the pressure at certain points) than it would take to crack on a standard 2G pothole.

ugh, saw a Caprice yesterday near the ghetto on 28's lifted just like that car. More and more everyday man, its crazy.

but I love selling stuff to people in the ghetto, they are soooo damn easy to talk into things hahaha :D

cueball1 03-14-2007 12:08 PM

I'm sorry, I like it. Wouldn't own it but if you're gunna do stupid, take it too the max. This guy definetely took stupid to a whole new level. As soon as he sells enough crack to light up all of Miami he'll have the cash for the other two wheels.

I'd just like to be there when he turns a corner and the wheel hub breaks through the plexi. $150 for the car, $5000 to lift it, $30,000 for wheels, look on his face as it crashes to the ground and rolls... Priceless.

I'm not convinced that he doesn't have 4 matching wheels on that car. The rolling diameters and tires look identical on both sides. I figured it was some sort of one-way reflective coating.

Feel free to find some pics to prove me wrong. :dunno:
