I have been running Chrome since it came out sometime last year. I really like it. I get a kick out of the language one certain tabs and windows. Like, "stats for nerds" and so on.

Hmm might have to try that.

Nope, I use it. Fast, good features, more web standards compliant than IE. Occasionally I'll run across a site that IE renders better, and of course I test all my web dev work in IE because most people use it, but otherwise it's my preferred browser. Version 10 looks to be even more promising; the alpha aces the Acid3 test.

Porn mode is sick.

Bonus points as I will be installing it at home also is the wife will no longer see the favorites, as she won't even know to open the Chrome program file.

Opera FTW!!!! I have been using Opera since back in the days that you had to pay for it. Yes I can proudly say I paid for a web browser. Back when you all had several IE windows, or Netscape windows open I had tabs. It has been the only broswer that has always had tabs that always work and is multiplatform. It is so nice having the exactly the same browser no matter which OS I decide to boot in the morning.

I'm going to bump this because the new Chrome 2.0 beta came out yesterday. Here's the benchmarks:

That means if you thought original chrome was fast.. this one is silly fast. Again, it is a beta.

Geez, I just loaded it yesterday and have version 1.0.154.48:vash:

EDIT: I just checked the "About Google Chrome" and it says that I am on the current update.

What you are referring to is the "Current stable" version. Chrome 2.0 is beta.

Google Chrome (BETA)
