You guys don't like ricer, but I am not sure about classic. In my mind, this is a one of a kind and I would treasure having it.

+1 on the Saab.
They aren't common enough to fail turning the occational head. Engineered well enough they are generally trouble-free. Have great safety features and ergonomics. And I see mid- to high-20s for MPG with mixed city driving. |
How is it that not a single person has mentioned the Chrysler LeBaron convertible? Edmunds TMV = $494. For $10k, you can buy twenty of them and simply abandon them at the side of the road when they break down.

Good gas mileage, respectable, little bit funky and the 9-3's before the GM takeover were pretty reliable. If he want's to learn what torque steer is tell him to look for the Viggen version. |
